Greetings to my fellow members of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians and my brothers and sisters in Christ in the United Kingdom. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I count it a privilege to serve you as International President of this great organisation established for the sake of witnessing Christ to the world and glorifying God before men with our unique talents. |
| ” I challenge each of you to let your light shine with brilliance as you serve God and practice and present your particular performance skills before others.
As you know, the Lord Jesus set examples for us, He used object lessons to teach others. Without even referring to his numerous healing and deliverance miracles, some others that come to mind are; the water changed to wine, the feeding of the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes, paying their taxes with a coin from a fish’s mouth, and on and on. In Matthew 18 verse two, He even used a little child to make His point. It is a proven fact that people remember more and longer when they are taught with visual illustrations. It is important that we clearly distinguish between the Lord’s methods and the methods we use to communicate the “Good News” to others. Jesus used everyday objects and miracles as he taught the people. We also use everyday objects but we illustrate with optical illusions and not miracles. It must be clear to others that the “magic” is not a miracle. God has graciously given us a creative mind, let’s continue to use it to come up with new ideas and more ways to share the “Good News” as we reach, preach, teach and entertain. |
