At the age of ten I started visting woolworths and I bought tricks and books.
At fouteen I went to work in the West End of London for a documentary film company making films for
the ministry of information.
While there I visited Davenports, Ken Brook, Oscar Oswald, Unique Club, Hamleys, Gamages, Ellistons and other such places. I also joined the Institute of Magicians. I was in the Boys Brigade as boy and officer and attended well over 50 camps and organised camp concerts etc. |

I have been and still am a chorister man and boy for around sixty eight years. I joined a concert party and gave shows at old peoples homes, prisons, asylums etc. Over the years I have performed at many venues such as Butlins, Pontins, church parties and professional engagements. I also helped start an amateur theatre company which is now very successful.. While in a professional company I toured around Wales in Canterbury Tales musical. I have been in many television commercials and a BBC documentary and I have attended magic conventions all over the world. As well as lecturing I also teach magic. Terry Lawton, Anthony Owen and Guy Hollingworth are just some of those I have helped to get started. I am also a member of The Magic Circle. |
