James Reuben Horsley

Hi Folks. My name is James Reuben Horsley but my friends and relatives call me Reuben.

I have been given the nickname “The Great Reubino” by a local church (this could be because of my weight). This is now my stage name.

I live in Lakeside Village in Sunderland and have been an Independent Methodist Minister for 40 years (unpaid) and a teacher for 23 years, now retired.

My ministry takes me into a junior school to take an assembly once every three weeks and I visit a local Old Peoples Home every 2/3 weeks.

I use illusions for various charity fundraising work and my main area of magic is Stage because of my school and church work. I am also very interested in ventriloquism but am just starting in this field. The dummy, he's the one on the left is called Jake and is now becoming a regular feature in my shows.
