I am Richard Maddams, also known as the ‘Amazing Tricky Ricky’.

I was Born, dragged up, and still live in the lovely village of Much Hadham in Hertfordshire, and attend church in Harlow.

A few years ago, I was asked to do a ‘spot’ of entertaining for the kiddies at my church Christmas party. I decided to dress as a clown, to hide any embarrassment!!, and do a few tricks

Two weeks before the big day, I got very cold feet, and decided the only way out was to prove that doing Illusions.. (Magic) was biblically Wrong…. I couldn’t, So on I went my one and only show…. But I was Wrong again!!…. Because I now perform most weekends at children’s parties as ‘Tricky Ricky the Magic Clown’.

I also have performed at several Holiday Bible weeks and church services in the East Herts. and North Essex areas. When doing gospel routines I usually dress in a silver costume and not as a Clown
