I have been an Anglican Reader for about 30 years, with a special interest in leading all-age worship, and in Bible teaching. I now worship at Farnham Baptist Church. I also head up a Christian charity working with the church in Romania, a country I have visited many times over the last 15 years. I lead many school assemblies, and have frequent invitations to other churches in the south of England. I am very keen to promote the use of visuals, both in UK and Romania, and generally use a combination of puppets, simple gospel magic and a range of other visual methods. |

Through my small firm we resell some of the best British hand made puppets. I have published a booklet of advice on the use of puppets in church and school. I am at the 'elementary' end of the gospel magic spectrum. The main problem I have is in the development of gospel patter for the common secular tricks - some of the examples I have seen are too 'corny', and too 'churchy', for the modern schoolchild.
