While Bob was very inspired when he saw his first
magician at the age of five, it was ten years before he really took
magic seriously. He discovered the power of illusion in presenting
Gospel messages, and has been doing that ever since--for over forty
years!
He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians' Order of Merlin, as well as the Fellowship of Christian Magician's Heritage Club, for twenty-five consecutive years in each. |

He has been featured on the covers of those magic magazines and has authored many articles and booklets on Gospel magic. His more significant books include YOU CAN BE A VENTRILOQUIST (Moody Press, 1973), PRESENTING THE GOSPEL BY MAGIC (Haley House, 1987), ETHICAL ISSUES FOR THE CHRISTIAN MAGICIAN (Fellowship of Christian Magicians, 1988) and ILLUSIONS THAT REVEAL THE TRUTH (Haley House, 1994).
It was his instigation that began the European Division of
the FCM, which has been having conferences now since 1986. His
vision is to use various visual methods to share the truth of the Gospel,
and to encourage others in their learning to use such tools. He
serves with Greater Europe Mission and is an instructor at the Greek Bible
Institute, which he co-founded in 1973. |
