Ron Smith Christian magician
Christian mgician Major Ron Smith Ron is a Salvation Army Officer (Minister) and is married (to Elaine) with three grown up children.
Attracted to The Salvation Army through the Scout Movement, Ron became a Christian at the age of 17 and went to The Salvation Army College (South London) in 1973, was commissioned and ordained in 1975.

He became interested in Magic in the late 1970's and joined the Fellowship of Christian Magicians in 1989. 
In 2002 Ron became a Member of the Magic Circle and for his entrance examination used a Gospel routine.

 

He has served in Leicester, Nottingham, Isle of Man, Norwich, Plymouth and Hinckley and currently is the Minister and Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army Corps in Basingstoke. 

Ron has used Gospel Magic in various situations including Worship Services, Family Services, Over Sixty Fellowship groups, Outreach events and other Special occasions. 
Ron has held the position of Secretary to the FCM UK since 1998 and was elected as president of FCMUK in February 2007.
